Wisk Aero
The world’s warming up to self-driving cars—but a fully electric, self-flying, four-seater air taxi? That’s a whole new altitude. I came on board to help build a brand bold enough to make it believable, and charming enough to live up to its sunshine-yellow wings.
Taking flight
When we began the rebrand, we knew it had to start on the tarmac—laying a strong foundation through brand strategy. That meant reimagining the vision, redefining core values, and reshaping the tone of voice from the ground up. Inspired by the fuselage, we developed a brand shape that felt both streamlined and distinctive. Throughout the process, we focused on striking the right balance between delight and credibility.
How it comes together
So, tell me about autonomy...
A talking head video
that actually talks to you.
Pretty awesome when the world’s biggest aviation company has your back. With Boeing in their corner, they had the runway to build the first-ever 4-passenger air taxi. This video’s all about that partnership—and how teaming up made the impossible possible.
Testing. Testing. Testing.
Still testing.
We don’t need to spell it out (but we will): testing is a massive part of building an aircraft. Every single part gets put through the wringer—and once those parts come together, we test that too. Then we test it again. And again. And again.
I wanted to find a visual way to show just how many tests are involved. The video below scratches the surface... but trust me, it doesn’t even begin to capture the full extent of it. We're talking test after test after test—rinse and repeat, ad nauseam.
